1. How to cancel
Cancellation is self-service and available at any time. Open the Easy DAT extension, go to your account or billing section, and open the Stripe billing portal. Choose "Cancel subscription". You do not need to contact us or give a reason. If you cannot reach the portal, email easydatapp@gmail.com and we will cancel it for you.
2. What happens after you cancel
- Your subscription stops renewing and you are not charged again.
- Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that date the extension's paid features stop working.
- If you cancel during the 90-day free trial, access ends at the end of the trial and you are never charged.
- You can subscribe again at any time from inside the extension.
3. Refund rule
We do not refund partial months. When you cancel, the current month remains active until its end date and no proportional refund is issued for the unused days. Because the subscription is $10 USD per month and can be cancelled at any time before the next renewal, the most you can be charged after deciding to stop is one month.
4. Exceptions
We will issue a refund in these cases:
- A duplicate or clearly incorrect charge caused by a billing error on our side;
- A charge taken after a cancellation was already confirmed;
- Termination of your account by us without cause, in which case we refund the unused portion of the current month;
- Where a refund is required by applicable law.
To request a refund under one of these exceptions, email easydatapp@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge, from the email address on the account, including the date and amount. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically take 5-10 business days to appear.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. If payment still fails, the subscription is paused and paid features stop until payment succeeds.
